
Born in Iasi, Romania, Theodor Ionita started studying art history from a very young age, with both parents working as University Professors. In 2018 he attended UNATC I. L. Caragiale in Bucharest where he completed several short films as a screenwriter and director. As a film director working in Bucharest, London and Dubai, Theodor is recieving recognition at film festivals like Sarajevo Film Festival, Transilvania International Film Festival, Anonimul International Film Festival, where he won „Ovidiu Bose Paștină” award for short film in 2021, Gopo Film Awards.
Starting his musical education at the age of 5, he trained in classical piano until the age of 15, and spent the following 4 years as a drummer in the indie band “The Crunch”. Currently, some of his musical projects include producing film scores, music for commercials, and developing an R&B pop album.
